Spelling Bee is an annual competition which encourages our young learners to memorize grade-level spelling words and compete in an exciting and fun environment. Our spelling champions are extremely proud of the trophies they win.

FINAL ROUND
Wed, 25th May
Word lists
Spelling lists of the 18 units as given OD Discover.
Challenging, off-list words will be used in the final round, if needed.
Rules, Procedures & Preparation
Rules & Procedures
Each student will have a small whiteboard.
The pronouncer will call out the words to be spelled.
You will have 20 seconds to complete the word.
When the time is up, hold up your board so we can see the word you have spelled.
Do not erase the word until we tell you to do so!
If you get a word wrong, one of the judges will ask you to put one stinger (located on your table) down.
If you have 2 stingers down, your turn is over and you are finished spelling.
The winner will get a trophy. Second and third position holders will get medals. All the participants will be awarded certificates.
